Caroline Hamilton-Smith, Marriage Celebrant

About Me
I was appointed as a civil marriage celebrant in 1995 and since then have had the pleasure of conducting many different wedding ceremonies. I will assist you in designing your own wedding based on your own personal style. A marriage ceremony is a public expression of one of the most precious and beautiful of all gifts, the love that you have in your hearts for one another and you are free to express those feelings in your own special way.
I have a large selection of ceremonies from which you can make your selection or you may like to write some or all of the ceremony yourselves. There are many different ceremonial aspects to a ceremony which you may like to include in your ceremony such as 'Handfasting' (tying the knot) Poetry Readings, Sand Ceremony (signifying unity) Butterfly Releases. I will assist you in making your wedding ceremony a beautiful and memorable day.

To get married in Australia a couple will complete a Notice of Intended Marriage (NIM) at which time your birth certificate or overseas passport will be needed as proof of identity. The Notice of Intended Marriage has to be completed at least a month and a day before the wedding and is valid for 18 months.
I will take care of all the legal aspects of your ceremony leaving you worry free to enjoy your very special day. Please call or email me for additional information.
